Workout Recap - Week of December 19, 2021
It seems like my mental fragility of late was largely a precursor to a spell of depression. On a rational level, I'm sure I'll recover. On an emotional level, it sucks.
Monday
Type: Pass/Fail
Uneven Pull Ups - 1 set of 8, each side (pass)
Stand-to-stand Bridges, one wall touch on the way up - 1 set of 8, each side (pass)
Archer Push Ups - 1 set of 23, each side (pass)
Bonus: none
Mostly holding steady, I guess. I haven't felt up to pushing harder.
Tuesday
Type: Pass/Fail
Uneven Handstand Push Ups - 1 set of 5, each side (pass)
Hanging Leg Raises - 1 set of 15 (pass)
Shrimp Squats, both hands behind me - 1 set of 13, each side (pass)
Bonus: none
It was a workout. Not much else to be said.
Friday
Type: Pass/Fail
Pull Ups - 2 sets of 10 (pass)
Bridges - 2 sets of 15 (pass)
Push Ups - 2 sets of 20 (pass)
Bonus: none
I took things back to a more basic level, due to a combination of wanting to get back to doing two sets for these types of workouts, wanting a break of time to clear my head, and hoping that taking some easy wins might help me keep on track until my mind is right again.
Saturday
Type: Pass/Fail
Handstand Push Ups - 2 sets of 15 (pass)
Straight Leg Raises - 2 sets of 20 (pass)
Close Squats - 2 sets of 20 (pass)
Bonus: none
Keeping on with the approach from Friday.
