Workout Recap - Week of July 18, 2021
Sometimes it feels like two steps forward and two steps back. To be fair, the light load this week was largely self-imposed, as certain other matters took priority over my fitness. While I can't deny that I feel like I let myself down, I'd have made the same choices again if I had another run at the situations.
Monday
Type: Pass/Fail
Pull Ups - 2 sets of 10 (pass)
Push Ups - 2 sets of 15 (pass)
Bonus: 13 straight leg raises
Temperatures were up again, so I scaled back for safety. It sucks, but I'm happy with what I was able to do nonetheless.
Tuesday
Type: Pass/Fail
Close Handstand Push Ups - 2 sets of 12 (pass)
Shrimp Squats, both hands behind me - 2 sets of 8, both sides (pass)
Bonus: 8 breath isometric uneven flex hang (both sides)
Alright, making some progress here! Steady advances are always great to see.
Friday
Type: Pass/Fail
Stand-to-stand Bridges, one wall touch on the way up - 1 set of 8 (pass)
Isometric L-Hang - 1 set of 25 breaths (pass)
Bonus: none
I was pinched for time, so I cut back to a single set. Even so, I felt like I pushed myself. Best of a non-ideal situation, and all that.
