This was a bland week. Five workouts, none of them particularly special or memorable. So instead, I offer what's on my mind at the moment:
"The monsters make me hide / Perhaps I'll eat myself alive / Internally, what is there left for me to be?"
Sunday
Type: Pass/Fail
Uneven Push Ups - 1 set of 12, each side (pass)
Stand-to-stand Bridges, one wall touch on the way up - 1 set of 5 (pass)
Uneven Pull Ups - 1 set of 6, each side (pass)
Bonus: none
This was a frustrating day. This workout was something to make it more bearable.
Tuesday
Type: Pass/Fail
Close Handstand Push Ups - 3 sets of 5 (pass)
Isometric L-Hang - 3 sets of 10 breaths (pass)
Bonus: none
I suppose this is a sort of progress.
Wednesday
Type: Pass/Fail
Shrimp Squats - 3 sets of 5, each side (pass)
Uneven Pull Ups - 3 sets of 3, each side (pass)
Bonus: none
The pull ups felt good. It's hard to put my finger on why, exactly, but the feeling was there nonetheless.
Friday
Type: Pass/Fail
Uneven Push Ups - 3 sets of 6, each side (pass)
Stand-to-stand Bridges, one wall touch on the way up - 3 sets of 3 (pass)
Bonus: none
I'd like to get more consistent with the bridges before pushing too much farther. Most of them feel fine, but there's usually one or two per workout where I think I'm getting too loose with my pelvis.
Saturday
Type: Pass/Fail
Close Handstand Push Ups - 2 sets of 7 (pass)
Shrimp Squats - 2 sets of 7, each side (pass)
Isometric L-Hang - 2 sets of 13 breaths (pass)
Bonus: none
More numbers, more progress. That's always worth appreciating.
