Workout Recap - Week of May 23, 2021
The back end of last week and early part of this week was busy for me. Nothing unexpected, but it took a lot of time to do and then to recover from, hence both the tardiness and the brevity of this recap.
Monday
Type: Pass/Fail
Close Handstand Push Ups - 3 sets of 8 (pass)
Isometric L-Hang - 3 sets of 15 breaths (pass)
Bonus: 30 squats
Some progress here, in terms of both the rep targets for each movement and adding on a bonus. This was a nice workout.
Tuesday
Type: Pass/Fail
Shrimp Squats - 3 sets of 8, each side (pass)
Stand-to-stand Bridges, one wall touch on the way up - 3 sets of 4 (pass)
Bonus: 10 pull ups
As I'd mentioned being vigilant about my lower body conditioning last week, I added another rep to the squats here. I was pleased with how it turned out.
Wednesday
Type: Pass/Fail
Uneven Pull Ups - 3 sets of 4, each side (pass)
Uneven Push Ups - 3 sets of 10, each side (pass)
Bonus: 15 straight leg raises
More steady progress. Nothing spectacular, but individual advances often aren't.
