This was a busy week for me, so I cut things back to four workouts. Not ideal, but I tried to press hard during them to make up for it.
Sunday
Type: Pass/Fail
Uneven Pull Ups - 2 sets of 5, each side (pass)
Stand-to-stand Bridges, one wall touch on the way up - 2 sets of 6 (pass)
Archer Push Ups - 2 sets of 15, each side (pass)
Bonus: 4 sets of 3 plyometric push ups
Progress with my push ups and holding steady with the others. A fine start to the week.
Wednesday
Type: As Fast As Possible
3 sets of:
21/15/9 Prisoner Squats
21/15/9 Diamond Push Ups
21/15/9 Straight Leg Raises
Time = 6:15
Bonus: 30 breath isometric handstand
This was a decent all-around workout. There isn't much else to be said about it.
Thursday
Type: Pass/Fail
Uneven Handstand Push Ups - 1 set of 4 (pass)
Isometric L-Hang - 1 set of 30 breaths (pass)
Shrimp Squats, both hands behind me - 1 set of 10, each side (pass)
Bonus: 3 two-way suicide jumps
Uneven handstand push ups are a palpable step up in difficulty compared to what else I've done in the vein. I'm looking forward to getting better at them, but it won't be an easy road.
Saturday
Type: As Fast As Possible
3 sets of:
11/8/5 Pull Ups
11/8/5 Handstand Push Ups
21/15/9 Bridges
Time = 7:00
Bonus: 10 breath isometric flex hang
I asked a lot from my upper back for this workout. I got through it, obviously, but there's clear room for improvement. That having been said, it gave me some confidence in my present condition, because I'd expected to do worse. So, I'll take this performance for now.
